Feature Your Event on the Main Calendar

Event Standards

Incoming event requests will be approved by designated persons in University Marketing within 48 hours of submission (during regular business hours).

Acceptable Events

Events best suited for the Main Texas State Calendar are those open to the public or multiple university departments or areas of study. The event purpose should be clear and of general interest to the majority of users visiting the calendar.

When requesting that an event be added to the Main Texas State Calendar, it must meet all field standards, which you can view on the main calendar event fields guide.

Prohibited Events

Events that cater to a private or limited audience are not acceptable for the Main Texas State Calendar. Examples include office hours, member-only meetings, departmental meetings, deadlines, or academic classes.

Events without an on-campus sponsor will not be accepted, especially if the event is off-campus and not hosted by a Texas State entity.

Additionally, events that include prohibited language, images, or spam/broken links will not be accepted.
